I Am More Than the Color of My Skin is a collection of poems that addresses racism, and the preconceived notions put upon people of color. The poems are raw and honest. There is anger and hurt and truth; there is love and, in the end, there is hope. This book will challenge people to look deep inside at their own beliefs and/or prejudices and to hopefully change their way of thinking. It is about awareness, growth and transformation.
